Evangelism

Evangelism is the act of sharing Christ with others.

The key scripture in the bible found in Matthew 28:18-20 state, “"And Jesus came and said to them, 'All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you...'"

From this scripture we understand that we are called to firstly, communicate the gospel in love and power to the world and secondly, to introduce Jesus to those who respond to the Gospel.

The analogy of a soldier is often used to describe our 'battle' against the forces of darkness, and that's what we are in, a spiritual battle.
