As a church, we feel that the women play a vital role. Women's Ministries endeavours to create an atmosphere where women can realize spiritual maturity and fellowship, develop their leadership skills, and minister in the local church, their community and around the world. Women are encouraged to accept their responsibility as women of God who will offer themselves as living sacrifices, acceptable and pleasing to God; be devoted to one another in love, honouring one another above themselves; serve God and their church with zeal, keeping their spiritual fervour; joyfully hope; be patient in affliction and faithful in prayer; share with God's people who are in need; and practice hospitality. The verses found in Romans 12:1, 10-13 are the foundations for these aspirations. Women are also encouraged to be committed to teaching the younger women, as outlined in Titus 2:4.
As mothers, sister and daughters; we have a great opportunity to stand in the gap on behalf of our spouses, our children, our extended family and those we work with or come into contact with. At Anglican Church of Redemption we believe that there is power in the travailing spirit of a godly woman. Our goal is to seek the face of God and to stand in the gap for our families, friends and the church. The Bible clearly outlines our duties as mothers and wives, but what does that look like and what happens with the dynamic of the family changes. These are all issues we will be addressing in our weekly Bible Study.
The Women's Ministries is an opportunity for you to join other women from the church and surround communities in a spiritual growth experience. It is designed to challenge, encourage and develop committed Christian women who desire to use their gifts for maximum kingdom impact.
Our vision is to empower women through faith, worship and prayer. To encourage spiritual growth, personal development and leadership among women; and to contribute to the generlal welfare of the home, church, community and world.

For I know the plans I have for you,
plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.
Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me,
and I will listen to you.
You will seek Me and find Me,
when you seek Me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:11-13
And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. Ephesians 5:2
